Michael C. Shuck, DDS

Before becoming a dentist in Williamsburg VA, Michael C. Shuck graduated from the College of William and Mary receiving a bachelor of science in Biology. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the Medical College of Virginia, Cum Laude. He takes part in many volunteer outreach events, including Virginia’s Mission of Mercy project, Virginia Special Olympics, Give Kids a Smile, and the Jamaica Project. Dr. Shuck also is a regular volunteer at Williamsburg’s Olde Towne Medical Center. He actively participates with Virginia’s Donated Dental Service. Dr. Shuck has been a practicing dentist in the Williamsburg, Virginia area since 2007.

Shawn A. Mitchell, DDS

Shawn A. Mitchell was born and raised on the Peninsula and is a graduate of Grafton High School in Yorktown. He attended Virginia Tech and received a Bachelor of Science in Biology. While there, he also had the privilege of being a member of the Marching Virginians, giving him the opportunity to serve the community of Blacksburg, as well as attend many Hokie football games around the country. Dr. Mitchell then moved back home and attended Old Dominion University, earning a Master of Science in Biology. During that time, he also worked full time as an environmental scientist for the City of Newport News. Realizing his passion for dentistry and community outreach, he moved to Richmond to attend the Medical College of Virginia, and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS). As a student, he provided quality dental care at public health clinics and participated in multiple Mission of Mercy projects throughout Virginia. Dr. Mitchell is excited to be a member of the Quarterpath Dental Center team.
